Description
This is the former home of Shimon Rokach, one of the original pioneers of Tel Aviv. Built in 1887, this building was one of the first constructed in Neve Tzedek, the city's first neighbourhood. Over the years, the house fell into disrepair. It was restored in 1983 by his granddaughter. In addition to the artwork—including paintings by contemporary Israeli artists—items from the pioneering days of the town and family pictures are on display. An information sheet is available in English. Inexpensive admission.
