Description
London's Rock Circus is a Madame Tussaud's extravaganza for pop music fans. Taking you behind the scenes of the music world, the tour reveals the beating heart of the rock'n'roll capital of the world. Starting with a tribute to the Jackson clan you head on into the VIP area and get up close to the big guns like Elvis and Bono. Next you can strike a pose with Madonna on a video shoot before wandering down memorabilia corridor and 1960s London street, oozing with nostalgia and artefacts across the ages of rock music. You'll be all fingers and thumbs when you arrive at the wall of hands, displaying poptastic palm casts of anyone who ever had a hit single, and you get to try your own hand at recording with the likes of old-time greats Bob Marley and Aretha Franklin, before getting your rocks off on the Wembley arena replica with Bon Jovi. The invitation to an 'after show party' with the Spice Girls and Robbie Williams is a spectacular and flamboyant finish. The celebrated London Pavilion is an appropriate setting for musical musing, and many of the wax stars and animatronic figures are startling doubles with amazingly accurate details. There are also many original pieces of music in the Rock Circus and around a million pounds worth of instruments.
