Boarding only steps away from the Hilton Riverside Hotel, this lunchtime riverboat cruise, sails you down the mighty Mississippi River to the site of the Battle of New Orleans. Anyone interested in U.S. history will enjoy the tour of the grounds. A park ranger leads you through the plantation home on the grounds and gives you the whole run down on the battle. You stay there about one hour. Then you get to return to the riverboat to enjoy a catered style lunch with dishes like Jambalaya and Shrimp Creole. The captain of the riverboat narrates the cruise with the sites you pass along the way.
