You start out driving down the street. Everyone is given a "quacker" and are told to "quack" at other ducks as they pass by. You see some beautiful sights, and then you drive right into the water--the kids can even drive the duck.

The bus left our resort and took us around town towards the lake. We entered the lake and the driver allowed people to drive the boat. Most were adults, but he did allow my daughter (8) to drive also. She received a certificate for driving. It was nice and funny.

We enjoyed riding the Ducks, an informational and well worth the money amphibious vehicle, land, and water trip that gave a very good narrated overview of the area. The jokes were corny but humorous. The information was very interesting and helped to plan later activities and places to see.

This was great fun and exciting. Nothing like it if you have never done this! First you go to the top of Baird Mountain for a great view of the hills of the Ozarks. Then you go past the fish hatchery, the Showboat Branson Belle, and Lake Taneycomo. Then you splash into Table Rock Lake wher you can actually drive the "Duck". The captains are US Coast Guard certified and provide interesting local lore, travelers tips, and plenty of fun. Tours depart seven days a week and when encountering another Duck, a fun quack attack occurs and gets the tours into the fun mode! Great family fun and fantastic way to see the area.

The Ducks tour in Branson is almost exactly like the Duck tours in Wisconsin Dells. Most of the trip here is on the road though, with a sidestop to the top of a bluff overlooking Table Rock Lake and Dam. The amount of time spent in the water is very small, but at least all of the kids on the boat got to sit in the driver's seat for a few moments. The driver was pretty humorous, and he knew a lot about the area.
