I think it was $6 per car for day use, no more than $10 anyhow. Oak creek runs through and there are trails next to the creek. A lot of birds to see. Very nice scenery.

This is a state park with trails and an educational center about the Arizona desert and its history. Very nice little side trip and the scenery is breathtaking. You will be glad you made the trip! Not crowded because it is on the edge of Sedona.

As beautiful, in its own way, as the Grand Canyon. Go to www.google.com and look up Oak Creek Canyon -- then you will know what I'm talking about. If you only visit two places in Arizona, this has to be one of them!!!

This park contains five miles of well-marked trail loops that lead you to amazing red rock views or along the oak creek for views of lush greenery (wading and swimming in this area of Sedona is forbidden). Two of the trails are self-guided tours and have stop of points listing information on native plants and environmental facts.
Guided Nature Walks -- Daily 10am for 1.5 hours.
Bird Walks -- Wed and Sat.
Eagle's Nest Guided Hike -- 3 miles, 3 hours.
Moonlight Hikes -- April-Oct.
Times for these vary, so call 928-282-6907 if you are interested. The moonlight hike is very nice. This is a pack in and out facility, so bring backpacks and lots of water!
