Description
One of the many galleries in Old Jaffa, this cave-like space showcases the work of jewellery designer Rachel Gera. Many of the necklaces, rings, and pendants are sterling silver; some of which are inlaid with stones. The style is elegant, with emphasis on curves, creating a liquid, teardrop quality. Pictures of women modelling some of the more ostentatious pieces adorn the walls. Also on display are traditional Jewish Yemenite pieces of jewellery. The artist herself is often on the premises.
