Description

The procession of Jesus del Gran Poder is the height of popular religious expression in the city. It occurs every Good Friday (in March or April) on the streets of the old part of the city. The image of Jesus del Gran Poder is carried around a specific route followed by thousands of believers who often pay penance along the way.
