Playas Caleta y Caletilla

Description

These beaches were once considered to belong to the nobility in traditional Acapulco. Today, tourists may visit them, as long as the visitors remember that they are part of the town's history. The beaches are naturally protected by La Roqueta Island, which withstands the currents of the Pacific Ocean and makes the waves calm and the sand soft and fine. Countless little restaurants offer seafood and fish specialties; and boat tours, ski-jets and the Mágico Mundo Marino aquarium are all close by.
