Santa Maria Beach

SANTA MARIA BEACH is a marine preserve beach full of friendly tropical fish. Mornings are prime, when the water is clear and accessible off the highway (approximately 12km out of Cabo). This beach is an area where one of the local charter tours comes to take tourist for snorkeling and scuba diving excursions, or you can drive there for free. It is a public beach, with no facilities available other than a dirt parking lot, and it is located adjacent to Twin Dolphins.

Bring plenty of bread to feed the fish. With patience, they will swim up and take the bread right out of your hands. Talk about a feeding frenzy when they find you.

Santa Maria beach

Beautiful beach with excellent snorkeling along reefs to right. Save your money on snorkel tours as this is where the boats bring their passengers. Unspoiled and uncrowded, although there is a steady stream of vendors. Bring water and drinks since none are available. If you cannot get there by car, take a taxi or bus. Take the tour but the time alotted is too short.
