The old center of Mexico City offers a year-round opportunity to view some of the city's most important buildings, including the famed Metropolitan Cathedral.
The adventurous can even take a tram ride along streets steeped in history and legend. Such 45-minute tours begin in the tram station in Avenida Juárez 66, and passengers are offered an historical guide to each area they pass through.
