Description
The park in Casaleccio is probably the biggest in Bologna. It's a lovely park with benches, tables and barbecue areas. There are adventurous bicycle routes which go up into the hills and have marvellous views over the city. The River Reno flows across the park and you can go on boat trips or try canoeing in the river. You can go deep into the forest with the children using the well-marked 'Brigoli' footpaths. The park is so large that there is a real risk that you will get lost; don't worry though, all the roads lead to Bologna.
