Description
Building work on the Palazzo Zani-Odorici was begun in 1562 and ended in 1594. It was designed by Floriano Ambrosini.
The palazzo contains two courtyards with well-tended gardens.
There are some wonderful 16th, 17th, and 18th century frescoes decorating the rooms of the building. The artists included Girolamo Mattioli, Agostino Mitelli, Serafino Barozzi, Gaetano Gandolfi, and Guido Reni ('La Caduta di Fetente').
