The air-conditioned store displays ready-made items including rings and necklaces in gold, silver and platinum with inset gems such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and amethysts. A jewelry workshop at the rear of the store can turn out unique items made to order, often in as little as 24 hours. Prices for gems and gold are low by international standards, but you could still part with upwards of USD1000 for an item of jewelry here.
