Description
Fatima is, of course, the place in Portugal where the Virgin Mary is said to have revealed herself in the early part of the 20th century to a group shepherds quietly tending to their flocks. Since then, Catholics have venerated this small town and the name Fatima has taken on great meaning and significance. This chapel however is very new with little history. Built in the late 1960s, it is a modern building and more of a working church than a place of interest.
