This is a wonderful small museum with varied exhibits. There are wonderful glass art works. The grounds are lovely. The cafe inside is clean, convenient, and offers a variety of things. The Kennedy exhibit was interesting.

This is one of the premiere art museums in the country. Right now it is difficult to visit because of the road construction going on in the area but it is well worth it.Within the next few years a major expansion is going to allow for more of the permenent collection to be on display. And what a collection it is, in the old masters department they own a Rembrandt Etching on Paper "The death of the Virgin", also 2 Van Dykes and works by Lucas Cranach, Jan Brueghel, Joos Van Cleve, Hieronymous Bosch, Lawrence, Romney, Reynolds and Raeburn to just name a few. They also have great Impressionists Monet, Cezanne, Picasso, Renoir, Matisse, Gaugin, Millet and Degas. Not to forget the Americans Childe Hassam, Georgia O'Keefe and Andy Warhol. This is a beautiful museum both architecturally and in its collection. It is open Tuesday -Sat 10-5 and Sunday 1-5. Admission is $6 for adults. There is also a very nice museum store and a cafe as well.
