Description
This Weiser tradition since 1953 takes place during the third week of June and attracts audiences from around the nation. Contests are held in the Weiser High School Gymnasium with musical performances, dancing and jamming offered nightly in the Community Center. A number of other events are also scheduled, including a boat trip, yard sale, craft sale, fiddle booths, golf tournament and a biker rodeo. An old-fashioned beef barbecue takes place on Saturday in the City Park, and carnival rides are planned Wednesday through Saturday. Tickets run from USD3.50 to USD13, depending on the evening.
