Description
As you travel the 38 kilometers from Vientiane, the journey to the falls takes you through some beautiful rural scenery and along a local road through small Lao villages.
The three-tiered rapids do not seem particularly spectacular after the beauty of the trip, but they make a refreshing stop for a splash in the shallow rock pools or a swim downstream. This is also a great place to picnic under the canopies and watch local Lao people doing what they do best--having fun.
