Description
Next to the busy Carmel Market entrance, this pedestrian's walkway is jam-packed with street stalls on Tuesdays and Fridays. Browse through an interesting array of handicrafts from glass wind chimes, furniture crafted from tree bark and chili pepper ashtrays, to jewelry, nameplates and picture frames. Crafts are surprisingly inexpensive by European standards. Handmade furniture starts at USD30 and French inspired pottery starts at USD4. This is an enjoyable way to spend a Friday afternoon, taking time to enjoy a drink at one of the many adjacent open air cafés.
