Description
Built within the Ruinas de Sao Paulo, the museum now houses what was rescued from the fire that destroyed Asia's most important Christian monument, the former Basilica de Sao Paulo. Displays are filled with items dating from as far back as the 16th century, including a collection of crucifixes and other religious relics. In addition, there are statues and sacred art works, including a painting of the Archangel St Michael. Centre stage is a silver statue carrier, used to exhibit Our Lady of Remedies on processions long ago.
Admission: Free.
