Description
This is the newest of the museums in Turin and the only one of its kind, as it is entirely virtual and can only be visited through the internet. Inaugurated on the 29 March 1999, it presents a historic trip of the activity of the institution of the Polytechnic from its foundation in 1859, when the School of Engineers was set up in the Valentino Castle.
In the virtual museum models are displayed of buildings and machines, sophisticated scientific instruments and an ample photographic gallery.
