Description
This museum will delight popular and folk-art enthusiasts. Founded in 1946, the building's architecture is inspired in the architectonic design and iconography of the Tiahuanaco cultures of the Peruvian and Bolivian high plateau.
Exhibits feature popular artwork from the Andes and the Amazon along with Peruvian folkloric and ethnological pieces. There is a varied collection of musical instruments from different regions of the country and displays of popular imaginería art in miniature.
Admission: Adults pay 3 soles, and students and children 1 sol.
