Museo di Arte Contemporanea

Description

This imposing baroque building is part of a grandiose project, first conceived in 1718 and never fully finished, by Filippo Juvarra for Vittorio Amedeo II.

Since 1984 it has been a place for new trends of contemporary art. Under the enchanting, frescoed vaults one can admire the permanent collections of the more recent European and American artists. Amongst the artwork are works by Anselmo, Fabro, Kounellis, Merz, Paolini, Pistoletto and Vedova.
