Description
This museum was founded in 1921 thanks to a donation given by the local Italian community to commemorate Peru's 100th year of independence. The building's Italian Renaissance-inspired architecture forms a striking contrast with other buildings in the area.
The museum has a permanent exhibition of Italian painting and sculpture and it also organizes temporary exhibitions. It is located 100 meters from the Museo de Arte de Lima and is opposite the Palacio de Justicia.
Admission is one sol.
