Description
Home to the poet Ramón López Velarde for the last three years of his life, this house was restored after his death to offer a permanent testimony of the writer's genius. The museum takes the visitor on a metaphorical journey, recreating and depicting the author's poetry in relation to each individual's personal sensibility. The museum is thus transformed into a space that actively and closely maintains the presence of López. It is as if one takes a voyage into the universe of the poet's mind, which begins when you enter the closet of his former bedroom, complete with original furnishings and decor. The museum also has a bar-cafeteria and bookshop.
