Description
The scent of cardamon mingled with cinnamon (in foot-long sticks!) envelops you as you enter this small but well-stocked condiment and dried goods store. Natural dried fruit, nuts, beans and seeds (especially the ubiquitous Israeli favourite - sunflower seeds) overflow their canisters, just waiting to be sampled. Lots of imported sauces from Thailand, France, Italy and India (including mango chutney and tandoori paste) are also available. Try some drippy, sticky honey still in the comb, dried cherry tomatoes or freshly ground spices for a special treat. The friendly owner will be glad to assist.
