Description
One of Guam's best-known village fiesta's, this jamboree goes on for three days every year in May, to celebrate the patron saint San Isidro. Like a combination street party and county fair, the festival features contests of farm produce like hot peppers and farming skills like carabao racing. But more than anything, old-fashioned revelry fills the streets for three days with activity revolving around the San Isidro church. Vendors sell delicious Chamorro foods, and beer is plentiful and sometimes free.
