This swimming pool is not in tiptop condition as twenty years have passed since it was last renovated. Previously, big university competitions and even the Good Will Games were held here.

There are two conventional pools as well as a shallow one for teaching kids from three to eight years of age. There is also a diving club for children and adults where international PADI certificates can be gained.

A single visit to Luzhniki costs 40R ($2) (20R/$2 for children and pensioners) while a month-long training course for children (three times a week) is 130R ($5) and 140R ($5) for adults. Underwater swimming courses for children cost 2500R ($89) for five lessons and PADI certificate training for adults is 3000R ($108).
