We meet our "licensed" tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the area, at 9:30pm to tour a few spots near waterfront park. He was a little odd, but I guess that goes with the package.
The history lesson began along the waterfront, then on to the rooftop of a parking deck to look out over the bay and the spooky legend of Bouregard. Then off past a few homes to a small park and then to the circle church with a graveyard with a ghost legend, then ending at the Episcopal church graveyard. I honestly thought the guide made up some of the historical details. But he did a good job of being eerie and some in our group had goose bumps.
It's a fair amount of walking, but we didn't go inside of any building. The graveyards are viewed from outside of gates also. Tour guide had books with pictures for reference of historical linkages. All in all it was interesting but not worth $18.
