Operated by Liverpool City Council, this predominantly free service is based in the delightful setting of Calderstones Park. A good-humoured band of rangers lead the walks and cover a diverse range of topics such as a tour around the superb Japanese garden, organic gardening, water dowsing, animal awareness, woodland walks and a tour of the lost villages of Liverpool. A coach trip highlighting ghosts, murders and mysteries in local parks is one not to be missed. All the walks are free, but coach trips must be pre-booked.
