Considering the high percentage of Catholics in Ecuador (about 80% of the total population), the Libreria Prensa Católica, located near the Templo Mayor de Quito (in front of conjunto de San Francisco), is an interesting alternative to visit.
As you would expect, they sell works of religious literature, as well as Catholic icons and images: cards, postcards, rosaries and scapulars, printed images, among others. The street where this bookstore is located is one of the most traditional of the colonial zone, and is generally busy every day.
