As one drives in Stonebridge, the master development in which Ledgestone Golf is located, one can't help but marvel at the beautiful surroundings. We played in the late morning on a balmy, sunny August day. The weather, I am sure, enhanced the course's appeal. However, in its own right, the course boasts impeccable fairways, meticulously manicured greens, and some pretty thick rough. The terrain was up and down, making for some interesting second and third, and sometimes, fourth, approach shots. The scenery was awesome! We also played at Branson Creek, one of Gold Digest's top 100 courses, and we thought that Ledgestone was by far prettier. Well worth the money. If you stay at the condos in Stonebridge, there's a handsome 25% discount, making this course a must-play. It's a steal for the price!
