Description

Reserve several hours to take a Las Cabezas nature tour. To find, just locate the landmark 19th century lighthouse (El Faro). From El Faro's observation deck one has a panoramic view of El Yunque (national forest) and distant out-islands.

This is a sea and land reserve where threatened and endangered bird and turtle species are protected.

Explore the area's well-marked walking trails. The reserve is staffed with well-informed tour guides.

Tours are conducted Wednesday through Sunday and are by appointment only.

The cost for adults is US$5 and children are US$2. There is limited disabled access.
