This bakery offers good service and tasty traditional cakes, most of them made with strawberry jam, liquor, and nougat based frosting. The shop is well known for their specialization in 'sweet-sixteen' (sweet-fifteen, actually, in Mexican custom) parties where cakes with several tiers are served. Kristal is one of the most inexpensive places of its type and also sells good pastries.
