This is the scene of the annual festival of Lessons and Carols broadcast on radio and TV on Christmas Eve.
Henry VI, the founder of the college and its chapel, was not the fittest mentally of our kings, though this is barely mentioned in the historical displays. They do emphasise rightly that he was more esteemed in death than in life - regarded as a saint - and that his successors to the throne [at least one of whom must surely have been responsible for his murder] continued his work on the college for the political gain associated with it.
