Before Key West became the tourist destination it is today, many Key West residents made their livings by salvaging ships that were shipwrecked.
Using live actors and artifacts from the Issac Allerton, a wrecked ship, this museum brings the history of that era to life.
Museum visitors can also get a great view of the island and the surrounding waters by climbing to the top of the 65 foot wrecking tower.
