South of the old stupa, this wood-paneled boutique and showroom is slightly hidden behind a cluster of trees and can be easily missed. On sale are tailor-made Lao silk shirts and blouses, although quite limited in range, along with silk hanging drapes. The gentle, English-speaking Lao owner, Bouasonekham, spends her days at the loom and is more than happy to let you sit and watch her weaving and making traditional Lao skirts, known as Sin. Take advantage of this and learn a little more about this simple but lengthy process.
