Like a natural history museum where you can take home the exhibits, this store just off the main strip of the Third Street Promenade features actual dinosaur artifacts. For the right price, you can take home dinosaur eggs, fossils, bones and other relics, some of which date back more than 500 million years. This store began as Jeff Marshall's personal collection and has since grown into a small Southland chain. Also in the store are three separate boutique-style areas: Ocean Quest for sea-related goods, David Freeland Designs for gems and jewelry, and Dinosaur for contemporary dinosaur-themed goods.
