My daughter is obsessed with designer clothes. Unfortunately, we don't have that kind of money. But, Arizona Mills has the perfect compromise! At Last Call Neiman Marcus and Off 5th Avenue (Saks) You can get designer goods for less. And, no they aren't used, and rarely are damaged. My daughter found a steal on Prada shoes that were 75% off, and with another coupon we had, she got them for $25! We love this mall!

We found some great deals at Arizona Mills - but it is one of those places that you have to check occasionally. Many stores are not outlets, which is what you expect at first impression.

Featuring a clever mix of unique shops and outlet stores, this indoor mall will keep teens and parents happy for hours. Off Sak's Fifth Avenue and Nieman Marcus' Last Call are two of the department store outlets. Old Navy, Reebok Outlet, Children's Place Outlet, Etienne Aigner Outlet and many, many more line the halls of this retail monster. Check the website for a complete list of stores.

As if the shops alone weren't enough, the shopper is entertained as he/she walks through the wide corridors by huge ceiling-mounted television monitors playing all the latest hip videos.

Just off the food court are two great family restaurants - Gameworks and The Rainforest Cafe. With both IMAX and traditional multiplex widescreen movie theaters, a family could easily spend an entire day inside this air-conditioned complex.

Be sure to stop by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and indulge in one of their gourmet caramel apples.

The Arizona Mills mall is actually within walking distance of the Pointe Resort as well, but the streets you will walk on are very busy (you'd be walking right under 1-10 to get there), so it's almost better just to drive. Especially if you have small children or if it's still hot.

The mall has tons of stores (Burlington Coat Factory, Virgin Megastore, Hilo Hattie's to name a few), a Gameworks, a large movie theatre with 20 or so screens, as well as an IMAX movie theatre.

There are also several restaurants in the Mills or on the surrounding parking area including the Rainforest Cafe (a favorite of our daughter's, but a bit overpriced in my mind), Alcatraz Brewing Co. (a decent pub/restaurant), Claim Jumper (look out for the portion sizes at this place!!!), and the Rusty Pelican (never been).

Mills is a great place to wander around and shop for a day and then catch a movie or get some lunch/dinner.

Oh...and there's a Krispy Kreme on the far side of the mall for those of you that need your fix. :}
