Description
On the site of an old pirate landing (its remains destroyed by a typhoon) sits this museum, restaurant and all around Guam folklore center, owned and operated by Jeff Pleadwell since 1979. The museum displays glass fishnet floats, nautical gear, sea shells and artifacts relating to Sergeant Yokoi, a Japanese soldier who hid in the jungle for 28 years after World War II. The gift shop sells T-shirts, Palauan story boards, local crafts and many Jeff's Pirate Cove-imprinted memorabilia. The restaurant serves local and other foods, beer and Frosty Boy ice cream.
