Anything Hawaiian you could possible want...don't buy it anywhere else. Most vendors are willing to negotiate the price. We found a man making Tiki's right in the marketplace. They were wonderful and he gave us a great price!

Wow, you feel like you have walked into paradise if you are a shopper. The setting is casual, and outdoors, so to speak. Covered by trees as the sun peeks through. The sound of music plays lightly as vendors try to get you to buy their wares. You can find many great bargains here, but beware of imitations, and always be ready to talk them down. NO PRICE IS EVER FINAL here. Some will talk your ear off, and some are rude, but for the most part, this is a shopper's paradise. You can find lots of good eats here too, and Coconut Willy's Bar is upstairs!

International Marketplace

This place has an endless variety of little kiosks that are surrounded by lush trees and various types of birds. This shopping village is right in the heart of Waikiki and features all kinds of items and all kinds of cool people. You can buy all sorts of knickknacks, apparel, jewelry, and endless artworks and crafts. This is a fun and unique shopping experience, with lots of friendly sellers to choose from. Be sure to check out the kiosk for The Pearl Factory and ask for Cousin Wayne.

International Market Place has shops and artisan stands in an open-air setting. There is an International Food Court that has a variety of local and international cuisine and free Hawaiian entertainment 5 nights per week.

My last most recent visit was at night and it was too fake for me, a tourist trap. After being there for about fifteen minutes, I couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough.

Daily 10am to 10:30pm, 2330 Kalakaua Ave., next to Waikiki Town Center

Our timeshare was within walking distance to the International Market Place, and we visited there every day! There were other shopping malls that were closer, but we had the most fun at the Market. We bought beautifully crafted scented candles, reasonably priced T-shirts, polos, tank tops, surfer necklaces and other souveniers. This was the place to go! There was a Chinese food buffet there too, but my mother and I had stomach pains afterwards, so beware.
