Wonderful dive shop! This was a great experience! This was our first ocean experience. The instructors at Aqua Safari helped us to get weights right. They were very patient as we adjusted to life in the ocean. . . not in a pool. For the boat dives, they took us to a different place every day. We had a young diver with us, and they worked with us to ensure the young one could dive with us every day and stay with in his depth limits. They were great tour guides, showing us the beautiful marine life and even helping us to improve our diving skills.

They provided snacks and drinks between the two morning dives.

Safety was always number one. They had two divemasters, as well as two people that stayed on the boat. Since we had two kids with us, it was very important to have the extra eyes helping check over equipment, and watch the kids under water. Absolutely wonderful!

Cozumel has one of the best divings in the world. The underwater gardens of Cozumel are formed by great banks of coral, and they are home of a big variety of tropical fish. The divers with most experience (I am not that, I can tell you) say that the submarine experience in Cozumel follows the Great Barrier in Australia, and that is a compliment!!!

The professional diving stores in Cozumel can design you individual packages but Aqua Safari´s services is awesome. I have had some ear problems since I was a kid, but my girlfriend is PADI certified scubadiver, so experience or not you will find the emotion to dive in these fascinating waters.

Aqua Safari has great boats and diving gear, and they have the best trip to the Palancar Reef. The divers must make adjustments for the excursions in advance. In case you are not familiar with the area, many hotels in Cozumel have travel agencies that can make the reservations and plan the transport. JUST TAKE A NOTE OF THIS: half of the people who visit Cozumel come to experience the diving. The most wonderful sites are in the south of the island. By far the best spot is Palancar Reef. The Palancar Reef is one of greatest in the world, and it is considered one of the best places to dive in the northern hemisphere. It's about 2 miles away from the beach and you will find the mixture of four different coralline reefs, gigantic sponges and incredible under caverns that will be delight of the tour! This place was brought out to the world by French diver Jacques Costeau. Trust me this will be a highlight of your Cozumel experience!!!!

Diving and snorkeling are great all over Cozumel, but we really liked being able to snorkel right off the front of our hotel, the Plaza las Glorias. One member of our group is a very experienced diver and she said that most of the areas where she dove were looking "tired and worn out" from over use, and that is truly a shame! She thought the Aqua Safari people were knowledgable and helpful and if you want to dive, those are great virtues!

But for us novices, the snorkeling was great at the several places we went. If you are going to dive in Cozumel, Aqua Safari in the Plaza las Glorias is great, but snorkeling is available many, many places along the west side of the island.
