Description
This is not a place to visit if you want peace and quiet. Lao families and friends share food, drink and conversation at the water's edge. Children play happily in the shallow waters while teenagers check each other out at the deeper end of the swimming area. This is a perfect place to soak up the atmosphere of Lao people relaxing and enjoying themselves. Hawkers sell freshly cooked barbeque fish, sticky rice and papaya salad. Access to picnic tables, shelter, plenty of Lao beer and food, music and good cheer guarantee an afternoon to remember.
