The museum provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about the president's life and all he did for the country year by year throughout his term and after the presidency. In addition there is a full scale mockup of the oval office during his years complete with his original office furniture, artwork and personal details including his famous sign "The Buck Stops Here."
Museum also has special exhibits throughout the year including a scale model of the White House made from Lego blocks that also included real working lights and scale models of the furniture too.
There is an impressive display of goods and gifts that he received from foreign governments including my own Indian government while he was in office which are interesting to look at and see.
President Truman and his wife are also buried on the grounds of the musuem and their graves may be visited as part of the museum tour.
You should allow several hours to see everything this place has to offer and you will not be disappointed by what there is to see and do. For seven dollars this is a nice attraction to take the family to if you are visiting Kansas City or if you are already living here.
