Gulf Islands Water Park just made the summer time much cooler - literally. Admission is $27.95 for adults, and $19.95 for kids for an all day pass. Under two years old is free, and Senior citizens only pay $22.95. It's much cheaper if you come after 3pm because then prices for adults are $22.95 and children are $14.95. The park is open from Saturday through Sunday to 10am to 6pm.
Some attractions are the Horn Island Blaster, a water roller coaster; Camille Cutter, a raft adventure; tube slides like the Deer Island Express and Island Catapult; Lil' Pelican Bay with water cannons and squirt guns; Lazy Pearl River where you float on an intertube; Padscagoula where you see if you can cross 27 feet of slippery pads in water; and the Waveland Wave Pool. For toddlers, Spray St. Louis is a pool and misty area for smaller children to play.
Petit Bois Island Cafe is the concession stand in the park, and is under $10.00 per person. There are corndogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pizzas, and other items. Souvenir bottles cost about $5.00. There is also a locker rental for $6.00 a day (plus a $5.00 deposit).
