Wonderful Place to Rent a Surfboard

When we stayed at the Outrigger Keauhou Resort last month my son wanted to rent a paddleboard. Since the Kona Surf Company is right down the street I took him there to rent a paddleboard. I was pleasantly surprised to find excellent service at this small establishment located right across the street from Kahalu'u Bay. The girl at the counter told me that she would help me in a second because she was helping another couple to get surfing lessons. In a few minutes she helped me at the front counter. She told me that it would cost $25 to rent a paddleboard for about 2 1/2 hours (which I thought was reasonable). I signed some papers and used my credit card for the rental. The paddleboard was in good shape but it was very heavy. My son used the paddleboard for about an hour then exchanged it for a SouthPoint long board which he was more comfortable using. All in all, he had a good time on the paddleboard and the long board. The service was excellent and the price for the board rentals were reasonable. I would definitely recommend renting from the Kona Surf Company.
