Great Place to Find Inexpensive Handcrafted Items and Gifts

This is a great place to buy inexpensive handcrafted items and gifts. Note that the items from this store are mostly made in the Philippines and other parts of Asia. This is not a specialty gift store where you can buy one of a kind handcrafted items made by local artisans. But you can find fish hook necklaces, turtle pendant necklaces, shell necklaces, coconut husk hats, weaved handbags, shell ornaments, shell hangings, coffee, and many other handcrafted items that would make nice gifts for friends and family. Don't expect high quality items made with high quality materials but expect to find nice simple gifts that are inexpensive. I bought a shark necklace made out of white plastic with a black plastic necklace band for $8.00. My niece and I saw some beautiful shell necklaces that looked similar to the expensive Ni'ihau shell necklaces that sell for several hundred dollars. To our surprise the necklaces were made out of another type of shell and they sold for $12.00! The necklaces were made with light green, white, and yellow shells. I liked the shell hangings that they had on display that they sell in different lengths. I was tempted to buy it but I already have many shells at home. I would recommend shopping at this retail store if you are looking for inexpensive handcrafted gifts for family and friends. This shop is located right next to the main tent near the Hilo Farmers Market sign.
