My family and I went on Vavoom Volcano Tours during a stop over in Hilo while cruising on the Spirit of Aloha. Lori, our guide, took us to Hawaii Volcanos National Park. The volcano park was absolutely the most enjoyable shore excursion we did in Hawaii. From hiking through a forest filled with steam vents, to walking through the Thursten lava tube, to hiking on the crater floor, one word sums it up, Magical. And Lori's tour really was the best guided tour I've ever taken, what a sweet, knowledgeable, and fun lady . We all recommend Hawaii volcano National Park and Vavoom Volcano tours.
