Something Different to Do in Lake George

We visited the Adirondack Winery & Tasting Room during our recent family vacation to Lake George.We found out when we got there that they make all their wines right there in the back of the store! You can see all their wine tanks right through this viewing window they have at the tasting bar. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty busy - the bar was full; but the experience was great. The wife who co-owns the place served us and she was really nice. We tasted 4 wines each for $5 and had to pay an extra $1 for a dessert wine, but we got our souvenir wine glass to take home with us. We got a cheese plate for $2 during our tasting, too, which was nice.
It was a really nice looking shop - very different from everything else I'm used to seeing in the Village - we found wines we liked and I would recommend visiting the winery.
