Local Secrets, Big Finds 2007 Pick

No great American road trip is complete without a foray down the "wide-open empty space" of the Enchanted Highway, where the "uniqueness" of the "huge sculptures" fashioned by artist Gary Greff adds a little eye candy to the asphalt. "Pictures don’t describe the size" of the enormous pieces, "because unless you’re there in person, there isn’t anything to relate them to." Rest assured, though, that one of them – clocking in at 110 feet tall and 154 feet long – is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
