This is definitely a place that’s off the normal tourist beaten path, but it’s right in the middle of the action. I’m sure a lot of people bypass it unfortunately, but when you enter Georgetown, there is a place called Island Glass Blowers.
It is a glass blowing studio where you can go and by glassware, glass animals, bowls, and plates that you can see made right in front of you. It's family owned and you can see them put the glass into the fire and spin it really fast to make whatever it is they’re making. Kids would love it and it’s a spot that not many tourists get to see, but is worth the trip.
You could probably ask any storekeeper exactly where the studio is, but Georgetown is not that big, so it’s not hard to find. It's right on the water.
